What does Bubble Up mean?
Bubble up refers to casseroles made with refrigerated biscuits. The biscuits bubble up when they are baked. I’ve made several bubble up casseroles for the blog – pizza, peach cobbler, and even an enchilada bubble up casserole. They are all fantastic.
How to Make Mississippi Sin Breakfast Bubble Up
This biscuit breakfast casserole is very easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. Cut up two cans of refrigerated biscuits into quarters. Place the biscuit pieces in the bottom of a baking dish. In a skillet, cook diced ham over medium high heat until all of the liquid has been released. Drain liquid. Sprinkle cheese, chopped green onion, and diced ham over the biscuits. With a handheld mixer, beat together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and garlic powder. Beat until mixed well. Pour the egg mixture over the biscuits and bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.
