“Police have invoked portion 151 of CrPC towards Ajay and his servant Vivek Shukla (25),” ACP (Cantonment) Dr Archana Singh stated. Ajay was named along with 13 other folks in the FIR submitted by Rawat on Saturday. Aside from Ajay, the FIR was lodged versus 1 Abhay Singh and 12 other unknown individuals. The accused were booked below IPC portion 147 (rioting), 323 (voluntarily causing harm) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and the SC/ST Act.
Law enforcement claimed the two had been arrested following Rawat’s professional medical examination report confirmed that he was assaulted.
